The Diana Mini looks like a shrunken (or should we just say mini?) version of the Lomography Diana F+ - the size difference comes about because this camera takes in 35mm film! As 35mm is not as wide in height as the medium format 120 film that the Diana F+ takes, this camera is able to be much more compact in design!
Don't be fooled into thinking that smaller design means less features - Lomography have done a great job in packing features into this little beast! With the flick of a switch you can move from the standard 35mm format to the amazing Half-Frame, giving you the ability to shoot 72 shots onto a standard roll of 35mm film - that’s 72 rectangular half-frames or 36 full frame images on one roll!
As well as that, just like the Diana F+, this Diana Mini comes packed with features:
- Two shutter speeds - "N" for normal (1/60 shutter speed) or “B” for long exposures (indoor/nighttime)
- Two aperture settings - f/8 and f/11
- 1/60 shutter speed
- Pocket-sized and ultra-compact
- Uses convenient 35mm film
- Allows you to shoot 72 rectangular half-frames or 36 square pictures on one 35mm roll!
- Multi-exposures - allows you to add another dimension in creativity to your photos
- Tripod thread and cable release thread
- 0.6m to infinity focus - for a plastic point and shoot 0.6 is damn close!
The Diana mini offers full compatibility with the Diana Flash (same one used by the Diana F+)!
